Welcome to Rannach Vineyard
There�s lots of reasons to take drive out to Clevedon. It takes only about 40 minutes from Central Auckland and when you arrive you�ll be spoilt for choice of food, wine, art, and crafts. A sheltered climate and well-draining soil make the area ideal for growing grapes and Clevedon has been written up by wine journos as one of New Zealand�s burgeoning wine trails. The enchanting Ness Valley alone has four vineyards. Make sure you call in at Rannach Vineyard and sample its delicately fruity Merlot which we warmly recommend. Tastings are free.

The 2006 Rose $15.00 a bottle, is wonderful with a summer picnic lunch or BBQ.

Our 2005 Rannach Reserve $30.00, and Rannach Merlot 2005 at $23.00 are exceptionally great wines as it was a perfect vintage.  We still have 2003 and 2004 Merlot discounted now at $15 per bottle.

The vineyard borders an area of some sixty acres of native forest with meandering tracks and a number of streams. You are welcome to explore this area so bring a picnic and have a day the whole family will enjoy.

Opening hours:
